On Wednesday, October 21, I will join Majora Carter, Kenna, and other civic changemakers to speak during the “Future Forward” closing plenary of the 2015 Points of Light National Conference. Hosted in Houston, TX, this conference will bring together thousands of service advocates to come together to shape the future of volunteerism.


Nov 20: United Story Summit

The Fall 2015 United Story Summit aims to bridge narratives and perspectives to create innovations that address justice issues within the United States. After a year-long engagement with stories by youth and elders from several St. Louis communities, the U/S Summit culminates to provide space and strategies for participants to respond together, fuse ideas, and produce achievable solutions to today’s pressing justice issues.

This past week, I traveled to the city of Boston with my job to engage with teen artists and museum educators regarding the maker culture. During the convening, hosted by the Institute of Contemporary Art, I gained a lot of new practices and knowledge that will inform both
